22/05 - Fancy treading the boards or being part of the group behind the scenes? Well we are on the lookout for new members and are having an open evening at the hall in Leverstock Green on Thursday 19th July from 7.45pm. Come and find out what we are all about. No previous stage experience is necessary, but it goes without saying that you should be able to either sing, dance or act. Over 16's only. If you would like further information, please e-mail us via the website or call Ian on 01442 263395. We will also be at the Fete in Leverstock Green the Saturday before so pop along and pay us a visit there. 22/05 - Box Office is now open. Please contact 01442 259573 for tickets or click here for details. TICKET INFO 30/04 - Tickets go on sale for "Back In The Swing" on the 17th May. Due to us pretty much selling out our last show and having an ever increasing mailing list, we advise you book as early as possible after this date to avoid disappointment. Booking details will be available soon. 17/02 - Due to our Web administrator changing ISP, we have had to use a new server to download our website. This means that, at least, for the time being, you may see pop-ups when you load up the site. We apologise for this as it can be annoying, but it only takes a click to get rid of them. 17/02 - The prize draw for 2 tickets for our next show has taken place and the winner was Larina Payne. She happens to be the daughter of our most excellent chairman, but be assured the draw was completely impartial and made in front of the group. Aside from this, her Dad doesn't let her have pocket money, so she'll be glad that she won't be getting a ticket as a birthday present as is normal !!! 17/02 - Our next show "Back In The Swing" will be co-produced by Debbie Cook and Kelly Baron. More details will follow in the near future. 16/02 - We can confirm that we have just posted record ticket sales for a show. All 4 nights were pretty much sold out (thankfully the snow held off), so a big thanks to all of you who have continued to support us and also to the many new faces that were in the audience. We hope to see you again in the future. 09/02 - We will be starting rehearsals for our July show on Thursday 15th Feb. If you are interested in joining the cast, please contact us or pay a visit to the Village Hall, Leverstock Green between 7.45 and 10pm 25/1 - A gallery of pictures from our current show 'Just Kidding' has been added to the site. JUST KIDDING 05/01 - The Players are on the look out for new talent to join us on stage. If you are at all interested in treading the boards, no matter how good or bad you think you are, then please get in touch. We are most welcoming. Over 16's only. 05/01 - Tickets for Friday and Saturday are now completely and most utterly sold out !!!! Wednesday and Thursday are moving fast so get your orders in quickly and have a great evening.
19/11 - Tickets for "Just Kidding" go on general sale from the 23rd November; £6 for the Wednesday night, £7 all others. As the title may, or indeed may not, suggest, the show is based around the younger generation theme. There will be songs from such classic childrens musicals such as Bugsy Malone, Annie, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Sound of Music and oh, so much more including witty sketches and erm, some more witty sketches. It promises to be an evening of great entertainment (so says the man typing this who just so happens to be the co-producer), but don't just take my word for it, come along and see for yourselves. box office 05/08 - Another gallery from Rhythm of Life has been added. Life 2 03/08 - Our next show in January 2007 "Just Kidding" will be co-produced by Kate Munro and Ian Payne. Keep watching for further details. 03/08 - Thankyou to everyone who purchased raffle tickets at our July show. We raised just under £300 for the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home chairty. 21/07 - Pictures from our current show "Rhythm Of Life", have been added to the gallery Life1 22/06 - Midland Lodge - RAOB Grand Charity Night, Saturday 1st July 2006. At the Hemel Hempstead Rugby Club Pennine Way. 7.30 till 11.45, featuring "The Jolly Jazzers" and "The 2 Ian's". Tickets £7 each including fish and chips or chicken and chips. Click here to go to the box office page. 16/06 -A gallery of pictures from our recent Murder Mystery has now been added to the site. 10/06 - Congratulations are in order to Kath and Mick Reeve who have just celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary. Here's to another great 50 years!!! 04/06 - THE GRAND VARIETY SHOW - OCTOBER 21st. In order to help raise funds for major changes that are taking place at the Village Hall, our Stage Manager Mick Reeve will be producing a “One Night Only” variety show, which will be featuring a number of ex-Leverstock Green Players. Further details will be posted on the website nearer the time. 04/06 – Tickets for our forthcoming show “The Rhythm of Life” will be on sale from June 8th. Box Office details will appear shortly. 17/04 - Tickets are now on sale for the Murder Mystery on the 13th May, called "Murder At The Ballet". They are available from the Village Hall on 01442 268723 and cost £7 (inc Supper). 25/03 - Our annual Murder Mystery in conjunction with the LGVA has been booked for the 13th May. Tickets are not yet available, but we will give further details shortly. 06/02 - The winner of 2 tickets for our next show in July, is Yvonne Coe from Hemel Hempstead.. 06/02 - A gallery of pictures from our January show has been added to the site. 31/01 - Our next show will be "The Rhythm of Life" and will be produced by 2 of our younger members, Martine and Melvin. Rehearsals commence this coming Thursday. 31/01 - Thankyou to everyone who bought raffle tickets at the show. We have raised a good amount of money for our chosen charity. A donation will be sent shortly. 16/01 - Our selected charity for this show will be "Mind In Dacorum". Will we be donating all the profits from our raffle over the 4 nights to them.
